Are you like me and have recently or for a while been struggling with your health and fitness? Do you have a new job, trouble at work, trouble at home, struggling to pay the bills or a new baby that make it feel impossible to stay healthy?
Life’s challenges are something we all deal with at some point. Personally, I started a new job, purchased a house and recently have added to my family. I am a workaholic and I always strive to be a master of my work and out preform those around me. The house we purchased was a fixer upper and has been a never ending project. It has been enjoyable to transform what was an unlivable building into exactly what we want but it is a lot of time and energy. Finally, adding to the family was the most joyful day of my life and I have enjoyed every minute with my beautiful child. At the same time, it takes every free moment of your life to care for your child.
Some simple ideas that might help you get back on track:
- Make a list of what you want/need to get done.
- When your baby wakes up, take him or her for a walk.
- Schedule gym time like you schedule meetings at work.
- Set one day, every week to make sure you’re kitchen is stocked with food that is reasonably health and easy to prepare.
- Get a step tracker like the FitBit One and try to hit 10,000 steps each day before going to bed.
- Be optimistic about life and your health.
Good luck and fight on.
